Hah i did that once. i also claimed to be from okinga (country i made up), and told my fascinated stranger all kinds of facts about my home-country, and even taught him some of it's official language (okingese), and complained about how no one knows about this place because we are a tiny island not on the map, but we are in fact located in Indonesia, southeast of sri lanka. he believed every word.
